Baum Blemished Pieces

Baum JungleVine® Pieces are blemished and failed our quality control inspection. There is nothing structurally wrong with them, but they bear cosmetic flaws--usually spots, stains, or some dye oddity that was not part of the artisan's design. The blemishes happened after the item was hand-crafted by the artisan, somewhere along the journey from the remote Lao jungle to the JungleVine Foundation in the U.S.

These pieces may be best used in a creative makeover project using inks or dyes to decorate the piece and conceal the stains.

Like our An Dai pieces that are one-of-a-kind artisan-made oddities, Baum pieces are sold deeply discounted and sight-unseen. You can choose the product and size, but the rest is left to random chance, as there is no way we can photograph each Baum Blemished piece. Because Baum bear actual blemishes, they are clearance priced, below even An Dai's low clearance prices.
